Gallery 2006 - Kodak P880 |
All of the time-lapse movies shown on this
page were captured with the Kodak EasyShare P880
camera. The main advantage of this camera is its excellent wide-angle
lens (24 – 140
mm), its 8 MP sensor with very good exposure dynamics (crucial
point when shooting clouds), an option to lock the camera focus to
infinity (again important for cloud photography), and namely its
time-lapse mode - it starts at 10 second interval, but unfortunately
has a limit of 99 shots :-(( The limit means that for longer sequences
you have to launch the time-lapse mode over and over again, every
16.5 minutes - which is the only disadvantage of this camera.
Other good things about the camera are its battery performance (in
time-lapse mode I managed to take about 1050 shots on a single battery
charge) and possibility to replace the battery and memory card when the
camera is attached to a tripod. What I'm missing is some kind of remote
release (you can't use the 2 sec delay when in time-lapse mode). |
